CdV P082 Ambient mix

An out of body experience this week as we are out of the studio and instead present an ambient mix that is out of this world. The mix starts and finishes with some New Age tendencies including the aquatic playfulness of Orphan Fairytale, the revitalised Laraaji (Edward Larry Gordan), also on tour in Spain soon with Sun Araw, Constance Demby from the now mythical “I Am The Center: Private Issue New Age In America, 1950-1990” compilation and Koen Holtkamp from Mountains solo work. In between there is space from artists as diverse as techno explorers Acronym and James Ruskin, Slowdive’s Simon Scott from Kompakt’s “Pop Ambient 2014”, noise maker Secret Pyramid and Belgium’s finest young composer Christina Vantzou. Finally, the more abstract middle section features new works from several brilliant and prolific artists including Robin Rimbaud aka Scanner, Janek Schaefer and Rutger Zuydervelt aka Machinefabriek.

Una experiencia fuera del cuerpo de esta semana ya que estamos fuera del estudio y en su lugar presentamos una mezcla de ambiente que está fuera de este mundo. La mezcla se inicia y termina con algunas tendencias de New Age, incluyendo la alegría acuático de Orphan Fairytale, Laraaji un artista (Edward Larry Gordan) revitalizado, también de gira por España en breve con Sun Araw, Constance Demby desde el ya mítico compilación ” I Am The Center: Private Issue New Age In America, 1950-1990″ y Koen Holtkamp de Mountains y un trabajo en solitario. En el medio hay espacio para artistas tan diversos como los exploradores de tecno Acronym y James Ruskin, Simon Scott de Slowdive y una tema de “Pop Ambient 2014″ de Kompakt, el fabricante del ruido Secret Pyramid y la mejor joven compositora belga Christina Vantzou. Por último, la sección media más abstracto presenta nuevas obras de varios artistas brillantes y prolíficos incluyendo Robin Rimbaud también conocido como Scanner, Janek Schaefer y Rutger Zuydervelt alias Machinefabriek.
